Shuttle launch director tells untold story of recovery in 'Bringing Columbia Home' [i]Michael Leinbach didn't want the book to be about him. A key leader in NASA's efforts to recover from the loss of space shuttle Columbia on Feb. 1, 2003, Leinbach knew the story of the accident's aftermath was bigger than just him.
